Vauxhall City Farm is an education charity based in the heart of London

Just minutes away from the Thames and Westminster, The Farm offers all the sights and smells of the countryside, attracting over 60,000 visitors each year, making it one of London’s hidden treasures.

Our offer includes a range of educational, horticultural and recreational workshops, volunteering, guided tours, a cafe called The Old Dairy and other visitors experience of an urban farm.

Free entry, donation suggestion of £4 welcome.

School trips and workshops

We offer a range of fun and engaging workshops suitable for all ages including Meet the Animals, Land to Lunchbox, Plant Life and Sustainability. 

Corporate team building

A great way to get your team involved in the local community, work on team building, fulfill your CSR requirements, and take positive steps towards improving employee health and welfare by getting them out of the office and into the fresh air with activities such as working on the Farmyard with the animals, gardening, and farm maintenance.

What animals are at Vauxhall City Farm?

We have a wonderful selection of animals at The Farm including pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, and an aviary of birds, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs. And let’s not forget Jessie, our farm cat who you will see wandering around or basking in the sun. 

Groups of 10 and more people must contact us to book in advance and may be turned away at the gate, if they are not pre-booked or we cannot accommodate.

School groups

All school groups and nurseries must email education@vauxhallcityfarm.org ahead of their visit.

Group prices
Price includes: a self-guided tour pack and animal feed.

10–20 people £64.80 (inc VAT)
21–30+ people £103.20 (inc VAT)

Please note:

  • Under 1’s are not counted in the visitor count.

  • Groups are not allowed to split when they visit The Farm to avoid payment.

  • Organisation groups (e.g. Mum groups) who have invited separate families to The Farm must pay.

  • Carers/ teachers are not included in paid visitor count but must be accounted for in booking.

Our livestock are very easily frightened so unfortunately we cannot allow dogs anywhere on site. 

Licensed guide dogs are welcome on the entire farm.

There is on-street, metered parking just outside The Farm. Please note that The Farm is inside the congestion charge zone.

We recommend you visit by tube or bus. We are a short walk from Vauxhall underground, train or bus stations, a 10 minute walk from Oval underground station and 20 minutes walk from Waterloo.

We have an on site café, The Old Dairy, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.

We have two unisex toilets, one accessible with baby changing facilities, at the top end of The Farm.

We have three unisex toilets, one accessible with baby changing, in our café.
