After-School Club at Vauxhall City Farm

A free programme provided by Vauxhall City Farm, in conjunction with educational charity TeamUp, a charity that works with our organisation to support students to fulfil their potential.

Priority given to Lambeth residents, eligible for Pupil Premium funding.

Cohort 1 – Wednesday 7th October 2020
Cohort 2 –  Thursday 8th October 2020

Subject: 

Maths

Tuition will be delivered by inspirational volunteer tutors. Tutors will be trained by Team Up to provide
academic support as well as inspiration by sharing their own successes.

Age: 

8 – 12 years old

Duration:

10 weeks + 1 week for end of programme tests and results

Location: 

Vauxhall City Farm, 165 Tyers Street, London, SE11 5HS and online

There will be 2 cohorts for the programme.
Cohort 1 will have 5 weeks of on-farm learning followed by 5 weeks of online learning.
Cohort 2 will have the inverted scheduled.

Choose whichever cohort suits your schedule better.

Start and Finish time: 

On Site:
4pm-4.30pm – Arrival & Registration at Vauxhall City Farm, followed by an interactive farm learning session and snack
4.30pm – Homework Support
5pm – Tuition
6pm Finish

Online:
4.30pm – Homework Support
5pm – Tuition
6pm Finish

You, as the parent/guardian are responsible for your child getting to the farm for the programme, picking-up your child from the programme, ensuring their attendance continues and ensuring that they complete the online element of the programme.
