Amidst the hustle and bustle of busy city lives, we offer young people an opportunity to hit pause and reconnect with what really matters, our well-being, and the beauty of the natural world.
This is a 6 week programme for 2 hours per week, for ages 11 – 16 years old. The minimum group size is 8 students with a maximum of 12.
City Sprouts is a fully funded programme designed for the dynamic and resilient young people of our community. Nestled within the heart of the city, our urban farm setting serves as a haven of growth and transformation. It’s a place to step away from home or school and step into a space that celebrates the natural world with the many animals and beautiful, tranquil community garden.
Our wellbeing programme aims to give students a unique experience outside the classroom. Utilising our unique farm setting, they will take part in a range of activities, from spending time with and learning about the animals to helping with sustainable farming practices that show the magic of home-grown food, to reflective sessions that provide a space learn about yourself, we aim to empower our young people and provide them with skills that will serve them well into adulthood.
Time spent outdoors and in nature can have a great impact on individuals and we hope to build confidence and engagement levels of all the young people we work with.
