West London Security become a Vauxhall City Farm Champion

Vauxhall City Farm is thrilled to announce that our long term friends at West London Security have agreed to sponsor the farm through its new Vauxhall City Farm Champions scheme.

The Vauxhall City Farm Champions scheme aims to raise funds to support local young people learning in the agricultural, equestrian and catering industries. Youth unemployment is a national and local issue, with almost 2,000 young people in Lambeth not in employment, education or training.

West London Security has been a supporter of Vauxhall City Farm for many years. They recently installed our new CCTV system and have monitored our Intruder Alarm for around five years. They have supported the farm’s work at cost price or, where possible, free charge. WLS_Logo_780_780

Director, Jeremy Ewen, said that Vauxhall City Farm was an organisation which plays an important role in the local community and his children have previously attended events there. “Vauxhall City Farm is a vital part of the community,” he said, “I’m really glad that through the Vauxhall Champions Scheme, WLS can play a role in ensuring its activities and services are available to all.”

Vauxhall City Farm CEO Matthew Lock is thankful for West London Security’s continued support, “We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with West London Security for a number of years. We’re committed supporting local children and disadvantaged people access our educational, recreational and therapeutic programmes and partnerships such as this one are vital for making these vital services happen”
