Lambeth Council is partnering with Guys and St Thomas’ Charity and Gehl Architects on their project to understand the experience and effects of poor air quality on people in Vauxhall – this project forms part of Guys and St Thomas’ 10 year programme which seeks to address the health effects of poor air quality on residents in Lambeth and Southwark.
The first step is to understand how people move around and experience the Vauxhall neighbourhood, including its public and green spaces. Guy’s and St Thomas’ programme is particularly focussed on impacts on children and older people, so the project team are interested to try and capture the experiences of these groups, although the widest response from a range of residents and visitors to the area will give them the best chance of a robust data set upon which to build the project.
If you live or work in Vauxhall, please take the survey, and share details of it with your networks.
