As a registered charity, we couldn't do what do without the hard work of our staff and volunteers.
Our staff are the most important part of the farm. Without their hard work and dedication we wouldn’t be able to deliver the range of services we do. There are so many people doing such great work at Vauxhall City Farm that we couldn’t list all of them, here are some of the people you might meet on a trip to the farm.
I joined Vauxhall City Farm in July 2016. My role is to lead on the overall direction of the charity. Before joining the farm I held senior roles in a number of youth support charities.
Riding Centre Manager
I have been at Vauxhall City Farm since 2014. I am British Horse Society Qualified and have a life long love of horses. I spend as much spare time as possible with my horse Billy.
Farm Yard Manager
I’ve been at the farm since May 2013. I look after the farmyard staff, work experience students and volunteers as well as around 150 animals. I run incubation projects at schools, mobile farm visits & train our animals in my spare time for their next big film role or sheep show.
Education & Training Manager
I’ve previously worked at the Prince’s Trust, supporting young people from schools across London and Kent and joined Vauxhall City Farm in 2017. I organise school trips to the farm and run our kids and young people programs.
Catering Operations Manager
I studied at Tante Marie Culinary academy in Woking and have worked for catering companies, restaurants and a meal delivery service. At Vauxhall I manage everything from the cafe staff & menu to our work experience programme. I love baking & making pastry.
Our full-time staff are supported by a huge number of sessional workers and volunteers. There are far too many for us to list everyone, so we’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helps out with all aspects of running the organisation.
If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer then just fill out a volunteer enquiry form.
Our trustees are the people who serve on our governing body. They are responsible for the general control, management and administration of the farm. We’re proud to have a diverse board of trustees with a huge range of skills, our trustees are:
- Faith Boardman
- Alison Ewen
- Nigel Hood
- Alison Mohammed
- Joe Nunez-Mino
- Will Winzor-Saile
- Susan Edwards
- Klara Skrivankova
- Delphine Mourot
